Volunteer opportunities at Rachel’s Walk

Our neighbor and great friend to the Village, Allison Jones, has been volunteering her free time maintaining Rachel’s Walk. Her personal efforts and communication with Metro Parks have resulted in a new sign, dog waste station, trees, gnome village, and natural pest treatment. However, she needs our community’s help.

Allison is requesting assistance weeding the park, as there are multiple locations where mulch cannot be laid until the weeds are gone. Any amount of time neighors can carve out to help will go a long way. If neighbors can periodically carve out time to pick up litter, that effort would be appreciated as well.

If you would like to assist Allison with Rachel’s Walk maintenance, please reach out via the Facebook group or contact the board to make the connection.
