  • Old Hickory Art Center

    1308 Fuller Street 9 AM - 1 PM Tuesday - Friday

    The Old Hickory Art Center is housed in what was formerly the Hadley School building. Originally erected in 1935, it served the Black children in the neighborhood during segregation. Hadley School was closed in the early 1970’s when schools were ordered to be integrated. Today, visitors can participate in open studio time, take art classes, or purchase art from local artists.   • Old Hickory Public Library

    1010 Jones Street Hours

    Built in 1937 by the DuPont Company for its workers and their families, the library was added to the Nashville system in 1964. In 1982, the original Williamsburg style building was renovated and expanded. With its Williamsburg design of red brick and white trim and its original oak furnishings, this charming library makes a priority of catering to neighborhood patrons.   • Old Hickory Community Center

    1050 Donelson Avenue Hours

    The Old Hickory Community Center hosts open gym, pickleball, and after school programing. Space can also be reserved for birthday parties, family dinners, reunions, community meetings, and more. For more information call 615-862-8698.

    Old Hickory Village Farmers Market is a producer only market featuring the best in local farm produce, meat, eggs, artisan foods, and handmade goods - as well as food trucks and live music!
