OHV Harvest Festival Updates

It’s time for our biggest Village event – The Haunted Harvest Festival will be held on Saturday, October 19th from 5 to 8 pm.

We had such an amazing turnout last year, we’re going even bigger for 2024! The Harvest Festival is moving to the athletic fields at the corner of Old Hickory Blvd and Hadley Ave at 1700 Golf Club Road. This change will allow us to use the lights, have ample space for our vendors and activities, and keep everyone safe and away from the construction site at the community center. If you miss the Veterans Park - we see you, because we do too! Keep an eye out for a cute Halloween night photo op at the gazebo.

We encourage all neighbors in close proximity to athletic field to walk to the festival. Parking will also be available in the field’s parking lot, and in the lot at EXIT Real Estate Experts at 1903 Old Hickory Boulevard. Thank you for their generosity!

We love what a neighborhood staple this community event has become in the past three years, and we couldn’t do it without your participation! Come prepared to eat, shop, and for children’s activities… and come in costume!

Several business partners from Old Hickory and our surrounding communities have donated prizes for the costume contests. There will be several prizes for adults in costume and children alike.

Kids Costume Contest:

  • Best Group Costume

  • Best Family Costume

  • Cutest Costume

  • Spookiest Costume

Adults Costume Contest:

  • Best Couple’s Costume

  • Best Makeup

  • Best Pop Culture Costume

  • Funniest Costume

  • Most Original Costume

If you want to get involved with Harvest Fest beyond just being an attendee, we’ve got some great options:

  • Harvest Festival Vendors: We are currently accepting applications for Harvest Festival vendors!  We are looking for a variety of family friendly shopping options, food trucks, and activities.  Vendors will pay a $50 flat rate fee to participate and keep all the money they make during the event.  If you are interested in applying, the application form and more information can be found here.

  • Harvest Festival Sponsors: In addition to Vendors, we are also soliciting sponsorships to help us offset costs associated with hosting the festival.  Sponsors can provide monetary support or goods and services in-kind.  Interested sponsors can fill out this form or email hohvneighborhoodassociation@gmail.com.

  • Harvest Festival Volunteers: Volunteers are the lifeblood of a successful festival!  We need help with set-up, working the festival, and break down at the end of the evening. Volunteers can fill out this form if they would like to participate.
