The building that formerly housed Village Barber Shop and Rhythm In The Village on Donelson Avenue is undergoing several major renovations. We can confirm that the owners of Hendersonville’s Sanders Ferry Pizza and Pub will be opening a new location! They are aiming to open in late February.

Old Hickory parents now have a new childcare option as well. Stay, Learn & Play Childcare is now open at 14270 Lebanon Road, near where Old Hickory becomes Mt. Juliet. This licensed childcare facility provides automatically locking doors, a video surveillance system, and background-checked, attentive caregivers.

Additionally, you may have noticed the demolition of several mobile homes near the Lakewood Dollar General at 3209 Old Hickory Boulevard. That property is currently on-sale for $2.6 million. It is zoned MUL, or Mixed Use Limited, intended for a moderate intensity mixture of residential, retail, and office uses.
