“Scarpetta” filming to begin in the Village
A new Amazon Prime Video series is set to film in Old Hickory Village in early December. Scarpetta, based on the Patricia Cornwell novel series, is produced by Blumhouse Television and stars Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis.
The scenes being filmed in the Village will be set in New Jersey in the 1970s, as many Old Hickory Village’s houses have a similar design to many homes from the northeast in that time period.
While it is not expected that the series’ main stars will be present for this flashback sequence, it’s exciting news nonetheless! Please note that if you see new faces stopping and examining the neighborhood in the coming weeks, it is likely a production crew preparing for the shoot.
