The Neighborhood Association’s recent community action
Our Leprechaun Leap might have been postponed until Saturday, May 3rd, but our community still made such a difference with their food donations. Have you ever wondered what happens after you donate? Or how we spend the money made from our new merchandise? In the last month alone, the Historic Old Hickory Village Neighborhood Association has contributed the following with your help:
Organized and dispersed food items that were donated through our library donation box to DuPont Elementary, DuPont Hadley, and McGavock High School for students in need
Sponsored two students’ field trips for DuPont Middle School
Donated to DuPont Elementary’s drama club
Arranged a gift card giveaway to benefit those affected by the storms
Our work is not possible without your help, so we would like to thank you. Your donations—both monetary and in-kind—always go right back into the community.
