Christmas Tree Lighting and Decoration

The Historic Old Hickory Village Neighborhood Association invites you our community’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting at Veterans Memorial Park on Saturday, December 7 at 5pm! As with years past, we will enjoy some hot chocolate around the gazebo while we count down to the tree’s first official lighting of the holiday season.

One detail has changed this year: we would love your help in decorating the tree! We will be meeting at the park on Saturday, November 23 from 11:30am-2pm.

Some decorations and supplies will be provided by the Association, and we also welcome your own. If you would like to bring supplies like step ladders or tape, if you want to donate any unwanted decorations (like old ornaments or garland), or if the kids would like to make something to decorate the community’s tree, that would be greatly appreciated!
