April 2025: New Businesses & Developments

Spring is in full bloom, and so are new businesses and developments throughout Old Hickory! We have outlined a few notable updates below.

Many neighbors have noticed a newly pink building at the Lakewood storefronts. Story Fragrance Library has set up shop at 2005 Old Hickory Boulevard. Their space offers custom perfume, cologne, and candle-making experiences. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram, and book your experience here.

New signage has gone up at 1400 Robinson Road. The former Regions Bank is now divided into three retail spaces. One is an alcohol, vape and pizza shop, and our current Subway will relocate to this recently-renovated building. The middle space remains up for rent.

Old Hickory Pizza & Pub continues to make progress at 1053 Donelson Avenue. Indoor renovations are nearing completion, and their new patio has a freshly-installed awning. This new restaurant is currently hiring, so it looks like we’ll all be enjoying a slice sooner than later.

The building that houses Dream Wok at 1435 Robinson Road has been undergoing cosmetic renovations including a new lighting, brick facade, a metal canopy, and entrance door. There is no word on the empty restaurant space next door.

Our Rayon City neighbors might have noticed renovations underway at 207 and 209 Bridgeway Avenue. These properties are being converted into single family residences by Jon Runion.
