Reserve Your Native TN Tree Today!

Tennessee Tree Day is the largest community tree planting of its kind in the United States of America. Hosted by the Tennessee Environmental Council, thousands of volunteers plant thousands of native tree seedlings in all 95 counties of Tennessee and beyond. In 2024 they achieved their goal, set in 2007, to plant and care for one million native trees!

As these trees grow, they will enhance our communities and provide valuable ecological, social, and economic benefits for current and future generations. Now we are planning our 11th annual Tennessee Tree Day, taking place on March 15th, 2025 and we invite your support to make it a success.

Tree species this year include elderberry, eastern red cedar, white oak, flowering dogwood, tulip poplar, pecan, red mulberry, witch-hazel, eastern redbud, wild plum, mockernut hickory,* shagbark hickory,* persimmon,* and black cherry.*
