Neighborhood Association: 2024 Recap

The Historic Old Hickory Village Neighborhood Association recently met to review our 2024 and plan for this year. Last year laid a tremendous foundation for us to build off in 2025. Thanks to the help of our neighbors, we put in over one thousand hours to accomplish the following:

  • Hosted nine community events

  • The Haunted Harvest Festival grew to over one thousand attendees

  • Decorated and lit the tree at Veterans Memorial Park as a community

  • Ran a food and hoodie drive

  • Hosted ten community meetings

We appreciate everyone who attended, volunteered, and submitted feedback on what they would like to see in 2025. We look forward to planning even more events this year and providing more information and resources on Old Hickory’s past, present, and future.

If you have any questions, notes, or requests, please email us or consider attending our monthly neighborhood meeting on the second Tuesday of each month at 7pm in the basement of the Old Hickory Library.

Your Neighborhood Board,

Alyssa, Celeste, Hallie, Jackie, Rachel, Savannah, & Zach
